With all of the craziness surrounding our basement flood, our kids have been the best. They didn't complain and were even willing to help out. They really wanted to paint so I let them help with the first coat in the boys' room. They are kind, helpful kids who are full of love. Last weekend I went to my Mom and Dad's house for my Grandma Patton's 80th birthday. I really missed the kids and they missed me. Things aren't perfect at our house, but I am so grateful to have the chance to learn from such wonderful children.

You have great kids! I can't believe how grown-up Laurel looks. She's going to be in college the next time I see hear. Can't wait till Christmas!

I just figured out that you have a blog!! I am so loving getting to check out what ya'll have been up to. It was so nice to see ya'll at the reunion. We are going to have to swap some family history info because I have a Grandma Patton, too!
